TYPES OF JOBS

Hired Hands provides full-service moving and labor for students and residents of the greater Ithaca area.  We are fully certified to move customers anywhere within New York State, as well as across state lines.  Unlike most other moving companies, we have availability on weekends and nights.

MovE

A “move” is a job that includes transportation of household or office goods in a Hired Hands vehicle.  We provide a truck, moving blankets, dollys, disassembly services, and at least two trained movers for every move. The trucks we provide come in 16' and 26' sizes.  Free estimates are available to all customers, including on-site visual quotes.

Labor

A “labor job” is a job that does not involve the transportation of goods in a Hired Hands vehicle. These types of jobs include but are not limited to, loading a customer’s vehicle, moving furniture within a house, cleaning, etc.

commercial

A “commercial job” is a job that involves moving inventory, supplies, or equipment for a business or other entity. Hired Hands has worked with numerous local Ithaca businesses since its inception and can provide specialized services upon request.
